Eileen Schuller
Chair & Professor, McMaster Religious Studies
A scholar who has dedicated much of her time to the edition and publication of the "Dead Sea Scrolls", Eileen Schuller is one of the few female scholars who have been involved with this special project that has brought together Jewish and Christian Scholars from around the globe. One of her contributions has been to study what the "Dead Sea Scrolls" can tell us about women in early Judaism. Besides her research, Eileen is also the chair of Department of Religious Studies in McMaster University. Despite her demanding workload, Eileen's success as a leader is mainly due to her ability to develop initiatives, to see things happen, and to work cooperatively with a group and seek the common good of the project.
