Women in Leadership Women in LeadershipCarol Wood
Ecumenical Chaplain, McMaster Chaplaincy Centre

"If things are going to change, I want to be a part of it, to be a peacemaker, to give something back to my community," sums up the reason why Carol Wood loves to get involved. Carol's involvement often holds special meanings to her; her love for learning about people and culture led her to organize an International Festival to celebrate cultural richness. In addition, her role as Ecumenical Chaplin of McMaster University allowed her to be involved with the SoulFood Fair. Carol attributes her success to her ability to listen to others and the belief in a "team approach". "Nothing works better than a good group of committed individuals sharing great ideas or pursuing one goal."
