Campus Plan
McMaster University's original campus plan was created in 1992. Although the 1992 Campus Plan detailed long-range land and facilities planning, the University recognized that it was time to update the Campus Master Plan and to broaden the scope of the planning which was undertaken in 1992.
Urban Strategies Inc. was contracted to assist McMaster with its campus planning process. Consultants worked in conjunction with the University's Campus Plan Steering Committee. Development of the campus plan was guided by the Steering Committee, and proceeded, as appropriate, through the University's decision-making processes. The new McMaster University Campus plan was approved by the Board of Governors in March of 2002. This document will help to guide the University's development over the next 30 years. |
