Past Lectures from our Science in the City Series
McMaster University was pleased to present this year’s Bourns Lecture in Bioethics, a lectureship made possible by Dr. Arthur Bourns, President Emeritus, whose generous gift enables the university to invite a distinguished expert in the field of bioethics to present a public lecture to the community at large.
The lecture took place Tuesday February 14, 2012 with medical bioethicist Françoise Baylis, Canada Research Chair in Bioethics and Philosophy (Dalhousie University) who spoke about

Tuesday November 15, 2011 with geneticist and anthropologist, Hendrik Poinar, who will be speaking about The Genome of the Black Death.
