McMaster University has gained an international reputation for the innovative educational programming offered by each of its six faculties, the DeGroote School of Business and the Faculties of Engineering, Health Sciences, Humanities, Science and Social Sciences. All six faculties report to the Provost and Vice-President (Academic). The Arts and Science Program, Indigenous Studies Program and Institute on Globalization and the Human Condition report to the Associate Vice-President (Academic).
