
Visible Minorities And Political Representation
Black, South Asian and Chinese Canadians Needed for Paid Focus Group Interview
Researchers at McMaster University are currently conducting a study to understand the perceptions
of visible minority citizens regarding their local Members of Parliament and the overall quality of
representation in Canadian politics. We are currently seeking Canadian citizens of Black / African / Caribbean, Chinese or South Asian background
to participate in focus group interviews, to be held in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.
If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted to schedule an interview at a convenient time and location for you. Interviews will take approximately 1.5 hours. You will be compensated for your time if you are chosen for an interview.
If you meet the following criteria, we invite you to participate:
- Canadian Citizen
- Black/African/Caribbean, Chinese/South Asian Origin
- Ages 18+
- Men & Women
- Resident of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
- No particular knowledge of politics is necessary. We hope to include people with a wide range of views and experiences.
