The Centre for Continuing Education provides high-quality, education and professional development for individuals and corporate clients, offering approximately 225 unique courses, programs and computer software workshops, and a rich menu of options for customized corporate training. Small classes, online courses and flexible learning options accommodate the unique needs of adult learners.

Our renowned Centre for Continuing Education offers courses, certificates, diplomas, and professional development training programs to adults in Hamilton, the greater Toronto area, across Ontario and Canada. The Centre for Continuing Education has been recognized as the Hamilton Spectator Reader’s Choice for adult education five times.
McMaster is one of Canada’s largest university continuing education providers of corporate training services. In 2010, the Certificate in Advanced Leadership and Management, a custom training program delivered by the Centre for Continuing Education for McMaster University, earned several awards from the Canadian Society for Training and Development, the Canadian Association of University Business Officers and the Canadian Association of University Continuing Education.
The Centre for Continuing Education offers several professional development programs including the Project Management Program, the Advanced Management Program, the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Program, the Business Analysis Program, the Risk Management Program, six Essentials Programs and the Web Analytics Program (online).
Four new certificate and diploma programs premiered this year. The new online diploma programs in Health Information Management and Health Informatics meets the needs of Canada's health care providers. The Advanced Certificate in Accounting supports students with previous post-secondary education who are pursuing a Certified General Accountant (CGA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation. The Metallurgy of Iron & Steel program supports people working in the steel manufacturing and related industries in learning the science of making and using steel.
