Each instructor has a unique teaching style and each assignment has its own intended purpose. This section outlines a variety of strategies designed to prevent plagiarism on assignments. The Office of Academic Integrity does not recommend all ideas for all instructors; some instructors find the use of Turnitin.com very helpful while others do not, for example. But we hope that instructors will find a combination of ideas here that will fit both their teaching style and the parameters of their assignments.
