Contact Person: Chiaki Kamei (kamei@pheasant.pharm.okayama-u.ac.jp)

Discussion and Conclusion

From the present study, it was found that histaminergic mechanisms play a suppressive role in amygdaloid kindled seizures through postsynaptic H1-receptors. Presynaptic H3-receptor is also involved in inhibiting amygdaloid kindled seizures.
