Changes to MAC ID Service

For McMaster employees, retirees and alumni with a MAC ID or UnivMail email account.

To serve you better, the MAC ID (logon) process at McMaster has been improved. In a few steps, you will enjoy the benefits of MAC ID Service Enhancement:

  • One username and password for authorized resources (VPN, Clean Access)
  • Online username and password management

Step 1:
Click on the link MAC ID Service Enhancement Process and follow instructions

Step 2:
If you use UnivMail Email Service,

Step 3:
Restart your computer!

Remember to use your new MAC ID and password setup in Step 1 for all authorized resources.
