Political scientist available to discuss what's on the table for Canada at state dinner
HAMILTON, Mar. 8, 2016- As Prime Minister Justin Trudeau prepares to visit Washington for a state dinner with US President Barack Obama, McMaster political scientist Henry Jacek is available to discuss the context of the event.
"Thursday's state dinner in Washington is very important for Canada. Any government, including the American government, can only deal with a few issues at one time. If the U.S. government and American public opinion is paying attention to Prime Minister Trudeau, then our Canadian issues and concerns will be put higher up on the American government's agenda."
