In a project as large as Mosaic, there are multiple groups doing different parts of the job.


At the highest level, the project is overseen by an executive committee made of four McMaster Vice-Presidents, the Chief Information Officer and the Mosaic Steering Committee chairperson. The executive committee represents the University’s senior leadership team. Significant decisions regarding scope, cost and University impacts are referred to it.

Steering Committee

The steering committee has more direct oversight over the project. The steering committee provides strategic guidance to the project. Decisions regarding scope, schedule, change impacts and cost are referred to it.

Implementation Teams

The implementation teams are responsible for configuring the new software to meet McMaster’s needs.

Advisory Committees

Advisory committees are a key forum for sharing information and soliciting feedback about decisions and options facing the project teams. If you would like to join one of the advisory committees, contact the committee chairperson.
