Abstract

It is well known now that immunity system is one of the leading systems supporting inegrity and stability of homeostasis. The system is highly sensitive to various influences, therefore the evaluation of immune system functions is important for early diagnosis of anthropogenic factors influences. We carried out the investigations of cellular and humoral immunity, non-specific protection, local immunity, allergic reactivity in persons exposed to biological, chemical, physical harmful factors of work environment. We investigated about 2000 workers exposed to fodder protein at microbiological industry plants, irritant gases, diisocyanates, acryl compounds at chemical industry plants, local vibration at metallurgical industry plants. We determinated general regularities and distinguishing peculiarities of immunity system function in persons exposed to above-mentioned factors. Immunoreaction alterations, various in direction and expression, were revealed. The direction and expression depended on intensivity and exposure duration of acting factor and also on initial human body status. Basing on homeostasis evaluation, diagnostic and prognostic criteria were elaborated to identify risk of occupational disease, to select corresponding groups for observation and treatment.
