Dear Dr. Grover:
1) The PLB null hearts are operating at very high contractile levels and they can only be slightly stimulated by beta-agonists.
2) The mouse hearts with PLB reintroduced can be stimulated by isoproterenol similarly to wild-type controls.
3) The maximally-stimulated contractile parameters in all three groups are similar.
