In vivo proteolytic processing of Cyt1Ab1 crystal toxin by third instar C. quinquefasciatus larvae

As observed in the Western blot of the mosquito C. quinquefasciatus guts intoxicated with the Cyt1Ab1 toxin, the processing of the parasporal inclusion generated a 25 kDa fragment, similar in size to those observed during the in vitro digestion.
