OSAP - Ontario Student Assistance Program


OSAP is a government funded program to help supplement tuition and other fees.


To find out if you are eligible, and to ensure your funding arrives in time to meet the payment deadline to your student account, you should apply online and submit your supporting documentation (signature pages, etc.) by the following dates:


Goal: Online application/supporting documentation submission deadline - Fall/Winter terms = June 30
Goal: Online application/supporting documentation submission deadline  - Summer term = April 1

Note: If you have completed an OSAP application and have been notified of your eligibility, funds will either be deposited directly into your personal bank account or directly remitted to your McMaster student account (according to your selectoin on your OSAP application). All students are responsible for reviewing their McMaster student account to ensure all charges are paid by the payment deadline dates.
