Hey there all you new Social Sciences students, we would like to take this opportunity to say welcome to McMaster. We are Matt, Christina, and Andy the Social Sciences Welcome Week planners for 2003. We are planning events which will introduce you to the McMaster campus, and the people here upon your arrival in September. At this point you may feel that university is a larger than life place, but whether you will be coming from a small town, or large city, we are making plans to get you aquainted so that your start in this new chapter of your life is worry free, and exciting as it should be.

It should be noted that after you submitted your registration and acceptance/confirmation packages earlier in the summer you became a part of the largest, and very diverse Faculty of Social Sciences at McMaster University.

We look forward to seeing you in September and are awaiting your arrival at McMaster. Whether you will be living on or off campus, you are encouraged to participate in the Welcome Week events we are planning for you. Getting involved and coming out to these different events as it has been proven in the past gives you the right start which plays a key role in your success here at university.
