Provide a forum for department managers/administrators and human resource professionals to discuss and resolve questions and problems concerning the hiring process at McMaster University and the use of the MacTRAC hiring tool.
Establish simplified processes and useful training tools and techniques that will improve the ability of this group to complete the hiring process effectively.

Approach

Identify representatives from faculty and departmental hiring managers who wish to participate in MacTRAC discussion groups.
Establish a charter for this group and arrange periodic sessions as agreed.
Provide facilitated discussions of various issues and lead the group through the steps needed to determine the best solution.
Establish a subset of this group that will participate in the testing of any system changes identified.
