- Support the President in the implementation of academic reform at McMaster based on Forward with Integrity
- Develop a multi-year action plan for transformation that builds on the FwI letter and the work of the subsequent task forces
- Support and enable the development of a student learning portfolio initiative that effectively links curricular and non-curricular learning
- Demonstrate a new approach to procedural flexibility and how it will enhance the mission of the university
- Work in collaboration with the President and the Vice-President, Research and International Affairs in the development of a strategy on internationalization
- Develop a strategy to integrate concepts of global citizenship into a McMaster education
- Build a leadership team committed to academic transformation, including new terms of reference where appropriate and the recruitment of leaders to fill numerous key roles
- As a member of the ERP executive team, ensure that this program remains on track and engages the McMaster community
- Establish an activity based budget model process
