Clinician Researcher

The Department of Anesthesia, Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University invites applicants for a Clinician Researcher to join the Department. This is a full-time faculty position for a period of three years (renewable). Academic rank will commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics on research projects focused on perioperative medicine and randomized trials.  The successful candidate will be expected to obtain and maintain research funding and publish and present their findings as appropriate.

The successful candidate will contribute to educational programs through a variety of roles at the undergraduate, postgraduate and graduate levels.

Additionally, the successful applicant should be certified (or eligible for certification) by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the Province of Ontario.
