Contractually Limited Appointment

Applications are invited for a one-year, full-time Contractually Limited Appointment (CLA), commencing July 1, 2013, in the Department of Economics at McMaster University. The successful candidate will teach second and third-year courses in the Department’s undergraduate program. Evidence of teaching excellence is required. Successful candidates must have at minimum a Master’s in Economics or a closely related field. Preference will be given to those with experience and expertise teaching in microeconomics and related sub-fields (e.g., public economics, industrial organization). The teaching load is seven 3-unit courses across two terms. The position is initially for one-year, but is renewable on an annual basis subject to good performance and continued funding.
