Section 1.4.5
If the technologies being used can achieve the visual presentation, text is used to convey information rather than images of text except for the following:
- The image of text can be visually customized to the user's requirements
- A particular presentation of text is essential to the information being conveyed (including text for a logo or brand name)
The simplest way to express this section is to avoid using images of text. Try and use as much CSS as possible in order to format simple text into the visual presentation that you desire. If it can't be done, then your image of text may then be used.
