Common Errors And Fixes
Start Button and Windows Task bar are missing when application is maximized.
Work around
At the top right hand side of the application window, click the middle button
beside the X close button. This will allow you to resize your window. Click a corner of the application window and drag the window to the desired size.Fix
Call the Service Desk at ext. 24357 and rerun the Citrix Client Detection. The Likely cause is that you are running a Java Client and the recommended configuration is the Web ICA Client.
There is a message showing in the Messages tab in Citrix.
Error message
Your current browser security settings may prevent you from accessing your citrix application. Please save the .ica file locally to your C: drive when prompted and then double-click it to enable the start of your web based citrix application.
The https://macapps.mcmaster.ca site must be added to your Trusted Sites.
Solution
Add https://macapps.mcmaster.ca to your Trusted Sites in Internet Explorer. Click here for step-by-step instructions.
Getting an error: unable to access C: drive.
