Vendor Databases of Technical Support Documents
These databases and archives of support information may help you find the solution to a computing problem. These archives are located at various sites on the Internet and may, at times, be inaccessible for one reason or another. If a connection is refused, try again later.

  • Apple's Tech Info Library
    Collection of approximately 5,000 articles on all aspects of Apple products, past and present. Updated daily.
  • Apple Usenet Archives
    An archive of the comp.sys.mac, comp.sys.newton, comp.unix.aux, and comp.protocols.appletalk usenet news groups. From this page you can either browse through the archive listings manually or search for specific information.
  • HP's On-Line Help
    A collection of technical databases maintained by HP
  • Microsoft Knowledge Base
    Comprehensive collection of more than 56,000 how-to articles, answers to technical support questions, and errors.
    • Advanced Systems, Networks, and Mail
    • Desktop Applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
    • Developer Tools
    • Operating Systems and Hardware (DOS, Windows, etc.)
  • Novell's Technical Support Library
    Technical support documents on NetWare, UnixWare, AppWare, and desktop applications. Helpful for finding network conflicts as well as file server problems.
