Adobe Acrobat License on Campus
Several years ago Ontario Higher Ed Adobe Group was formed by several Ontario Universities. The goal of the group was to negotiate the best price for Adobe Acrobat licenses while purchasing in bulk.

The initial purchase must include the Initial Cost and Upgrade Option:
*Initial cost varies depending on the number of licenses and currency fluctuations. Initial cost paid only once in the first 2 years.
*Upgrade Option – allows for upgrades during the license period (2 years).
Purchase of new licenses can be made at any time during the license period.
Renewal of existing licenses
Current license term is until August 31st, 2012. The renewal period is every 2 years. Any existing license can be renewed for the cost of the Upgrade Option only which is subject to change each renewal period. Normally existing licenses are renewed automatically and departmental accounts charged automatically.
How to purchase
If you wish to purchase new licenses please email UTS Service Desk at uts@mcmaster.ca with the following information:
- Number of licenses required
- Departmental account number to charge for the licenses
- Platform – Windows or Macintosh
Currently limited number of new licenses are available for $10/license/license term. If you would like to purchase those kindly follow the instructions above.
Eligibility:
All McMaster employees are eligible to install this software on the McMaster owned computer.
