Microsoft Office and DayLight Saving Time
If you are running Outlook 2003, Outlook 2002, or Outlook 2000 in a non-Microsoft Exchange Server IT environment, you will need to run the Outlook Time Zone Data Update tool after the applicable Windows updates are downloaded. The tool is available at from the Microsoft Download Center. Click on Daylight Saving Time for the tool.
Microsoft Office 2000, XP, 2003 compatability with Office 2007
There are compatibility issues between files created with Office 2007 and older versions of Office. You are required to keep your Microsoft Office patches up to date before applying the the compatability pack. In particular, all high priority updates for Microsoft Office XP and 2003 programs Word, Excel, or PowerPoint must be installed using Microsoft Update at http://update.microsoft.com/. The Compatability Pack can be downloaded here.
