To Set up a Vacation Message on UnivMail:

1. Use the web interface to UnivMail at https://univmail.cis.mcmaster.ca/ and go to Rules.

Vacation Message

Place your message here. If you type: ^S in this box, the subject of the received message is included. Good ideas are: where you can be reached, when you may be returning, alternate emails, etc.

2. Check mark "Vacation Message".
3. Type your message.
4. Click on Update. This will set up your vacation message.

To remove a Vacation Message:

1. Again log in to the web interface to UnivMail at https://univmail.cis.mcmaster.ca and click on Rules.
2. Uncheck the "Vacation Message" box.
3. Erase the message that had been created.
4. Click on Update. This will remove the vacation message.
