How to Setup Mac OSX Mail for use with Univmail

1. Open Mail. Fill in the information as requested. Press Continue.

   

2. You will receive an error message indicating settings were not found. Press Continue.

   

3. Fill in the following information:

   

   Type: IMAP
   Incoming Server: univmail.cis.mcmaster.ca
   Student Accounts use: mcmasterimap.mcmaster.ca
   Username: your username
   Password: password

   Click on Continue

4. Fill in the information:

   
   Outgoing Server: univmail.cis.mcmaster.ca
   Student Accounts use: mcmastersmtp.mcmaster.ca
   Check Use Authentication
   Username: your username
   Password: Password

   Click on Continue

5. Confirm all your information and click on Create.
