Oracle And Adweb Applications
How to prepare for the upgraded Oracle applications
University Technology Services is in the process of upgrading the current suite of Oracle applications:
- Cheque Req
- Purchasing Prints
- Journal Entries
- Class Lists
- Scholarships
- Trust Funds
- FAS reports
- Media Services
- Labour Distribution
- MURFI (Research Funding Database)
- ATS (Academic Tracking System)
Once the applications are upgraded, you will be required to use a different way to access the applications. The Netscape Browser will now become an obsolete method of connecting. Instead you will be using java and the following supported Internet Web Browsers:
- Internet Explorer Version 6 and higher
- Mozilla Firefox version 3.5 and higher
- Safari version 2.0.3 and higher
Apple users will now be able to access Oracle applications from within the Mac OS:
- Platform: Apple Mac OS X
- Browser: Safari Version 2.0.3
- Java Plug-in: 1.5.0_06
