Resolving Calendar client version 10.1.2 upgrade error
After installation of the new Oracle Calendar client, and attempting to run the program for the first time, you received the error "unable to find file MFC71.dll" or "unable to find file MSVCR71.dll or "unable to find file MSVCP71.dll.
Copy the missing file or files from c:\temp\calendar\ to c:\Program File\Oracle\Calendar\.
Option 1
Calendar Missing DLL
Right click on the link "Calendar Missing DLL" and select "Save Target As" (or with Firefox "Save Link As")
Save the file calendar.bat to your Desktop.
Locate the file calendar.bat on your Desktop. Run the file - either by double clicking or select the file and right click on it. Select Run.
Run the new Oracle Calendar client and log into Corprate Calendar.
Option 2
Open My Computer or Windows Explorer
Open c:\temp\calendar
Locate the missing file mfc71.dll or msvcp71.dll or msvcr71.dll
Select the file and right click. Select Copy.
Open the folder c:\Program Files\Oracle\Calendar. Right click and select Paste.
Check to see that the missing file is in the folder c:\Program Files\Oracle\Calendar.
Run the new Oracle Calendar client and log into Corprate Calendar.
