BlackBerry Webclient Change

If you have set your Blackberry webclient to poll UnivMail, visit the web address provided by your Carrier to remove your email account information.

  1. Enter your Blackberry web client username and password and click on the login button.

  2. If you do not remember your password, call the appropriate Technical Support Desk for assistance. UTS does not have or manage this information.

  3. Click on Delete beside your UnivMail account. This will remove your MAC ID account information from the Carrier's system.

  4. Click on the OK button.

  5. Click on the OK button.

  6. Click on Edit beside your blackberry account.

  7. If you want email from your BlackBerry use your McMaster email for Reply-To enter the email address here. Click on Save. Click on Logout to Exit.

  8. Login into the web interface of UnivMail at https://univmail.cis.mcmaster.ca.

  9. Click on Rules.

  10. Check Redirect All Mail to:

  11. Enter your blackberry email address in the box below.

  12. Check Keep a Copy and Preserve To/Cc fields.

  13. Click on Update and logout of the UnivMail web interface.
