Synchronizing Netscape 4.79 Address Book with Blackberry

Blackberry
  1. Install and open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager on your computer.

  2. Set your Blackberry on the cradle properly and you should see the status bar change to connected.

  3. Double click on Intellisync.

  4. Click on Configure PIM.

  5. Check off Address Book and click on Choose.

  6. Select Netscape from the list of Available Translators.

  7. Click on Browse and locate the pab.na2 file.

  8. If you have a single email account configured in Netscape, by default, it is located within Program Files\Netscape\Users\default. If you have other accounts configured within Netscape, select the directory name with the addressbook you wish to synchronize.

  9. Select the file pab.na2 and Click Open.

  10. Click on OK.

  11. Click on OK at the Handheld Configuration window.

  12. Click on Synchronize on the Intellisync window.

  13. You may be prompted to start Netscape Messenger if closed during the synchronization process. A reconciliation dialog box like that shown below may open for your input.
