Upgrading SyncJe on your Blackberry

Blackberry
  1. Make sure your Blackberry has the OS version 4.02 or higher. (For more information on the Blackberry OS version see Rogers website).

  2. On your Blackberry, select Options, and then About.

  3. On your Blackberry, open the browser and go to http://www.nexthaus.com/bb/syncjebb.jad. You will be prompted to download and install the sync client.

  4. If prompted to overwirite exisiting SyncJe files, select Yes to each question.

  5. You will be prompted to restart the Blackberry. Select Yes.

  6. On your Blackberry:

    Find this icon for SyncJeClient on the BlackBerry Desktop.

  7. Click on SyncJeClient.

  8. Press the Menu Key or Wheel.

  9. Select Settings.

  10. Verify that the settings below are the same on your Blackberry.

    Server URL:https://calendar.mcmaster.ca/ocst-bin/ocas.fcgi

    Mobile Data Sync URL for Calendar Server

    User Name: < mac id>

    Customer's Calendar Username

    Password: < calendar password>

    Customer's Calendar Password

    Contacts (unchecked)


    Foldername:

    Do not check. This Option is NOT recommended.

    Do not check. This Option is NOT recommended.

  11. Press the Menu Key or Wheel.

  12. Select Save if you have made changes or Close if you did not make changes.
