McMaster University students use a VPN connection to connect to school resources from off campus. McMaster University operates a Cisco VPN server and provides compatible client software available to students, faculty and staff.
AnyConnect and IPSec are two VPN clients that are available to the University. The AnyConnect client should be used except in cases where AnyConnect is incompatible with your current networking hardware.
