Integration and Interfacing
Administrative applications listed below are offered to various departments:
Department processes may need to have an interface or a connection to the existing IT system or a process. This can be achieved through utilizing existing mechanisms or building a new one.
Currently one of the mostly requested interfacing is to FAS - Financial Accounting System. Such interface eliminates a need for a manual entry in the journal entry and more.
Mac ID integration into existing IT systems is the mostly requested integration.Please contact UTS Service Desk via uts@mcmaster.ca with your requests.

IT Asset Management
IT Asset Management allows for cost control, tracking of lifecycle of assets and efficient, value-added use of IT systems.
Asset management includes:
- Equipment inventory
- Software Licensing and Pricing
- Software Asset Management
- Site Licensed Software Contract Negotiation

Project Management
UTS may provide Project Managers to plan, execute, oversee and close your projects by following project management methodology.
If you have an idea of a project why not start by sending an email to UTS Service Desk and let us direct your inquiry.
Project Management Service shall be budgeted in the project proposal.
Scope, timelines and priorities will dictate the turnaround time for each project
Web Development and Management
UTS provides website design and redesign, web development services, content management and support.

Web design and development is treated as a project and is a subject to a project methodology. Scope, timelines and priorities will dictate the turnaround time for each such project.
Content Management and support for existing websites is performed based on the priority and urgency
