Security and Policies
IT Security supports administrative use of the Information Technology services and systems managed by University Technology Services. IT Security is working with other UTS areas to develop a framework for a consistent campus-wide security program.
Policy and ProceduresPolicy and procedures related the computer systems include, but are not limited to, accounts, electronic communications, terms and conditions and general procedures.
Photo IDAll McMaster employess are required to have photo ID cards. Photo ID cards are not only used as identification but also allow access to certain services and access on campus. Retirees are encouraged to replace their current blue ID cards with the new Photo ID cards that allow the access to certain services.
Virus InformationInformation about the latest computer virus information, available virus protection and percations taken on campus.
