What is Office 365

Office 365 is Microsoft's cloud-based software which provides productivity software and related services to subscribers. It includes versions of Microsoft Office apps, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint along with storage space on Microsoft's cloud storage service OneDrive. Office 365 also provides a workspace for groups of users to communicate with each other, store group files, share documents with other users and collaborate in real time.

In contrast to the traditional version of Microsoft Office, Office 365 can be easily accessed through most web browsers, so users are not limited to working on a specific device. Office 365 includes a collection of apps for mobile devices.
