Enable MAC ID Services
You must complete your course registration and make payment arrangements before enabling your MAC ID services for the academic year.
Open a web browser like Internet Explorer, enter the url https://mugsi.mcmaster.ca and press enter.
You will be redirected to the MUGSI web page. *You may receive a notice informing you that the site is busy. Please try again later and we appreciate your patience.
Click on MUGSI. Use your MAC ID and password to log into MUGSI. Please remember that your MAC ID is not your student number. If you have not completed your course registration and payment arrangement please do so before enabling your MAC ID services. Select SOLAR to complete course registration and setup payment arrangements. Once this is completed, select enable your MAC ID Services.
If your browser is set to block pop-ups. Click on OK in the Information Bar window. Click on Gateway Login. Alternatively, click on the yellow bar with the message pop-up blocked and choose to always or temporarily allow pop-ups from this site.
Enter your MAC ID and password. Click on Submit.
Click on Enable your MAC ID Services.
A new browser window will open. Click on Enable your MAC ID Services.
Please note the email server, web address and your email account expiry date will be shown. Click on Close Window.
