MAC ID Services for Employees

Your MAC ID account provides authenticated access to the following services:

Calendar Depot
The Corporate Time Calendar Depot is a self-service website providing access to the Corporate Time Calendar client software. In addition to downloading and installing the latest version onto your computer, you will also have the ability to request new Corporate Time accounts and to modify your account information online.
Central Office Servers
Departments benefit from the ability to run current applications and share data, applications and services, thereby standardizing the environment and providing integrity of data. [Contact]
Clean Access
Public area network access ports are available at various locations across the McMaster campus.
Email
UTS provides a central mail host running Communigate Pro, a web based email application. UnivMail is the host machine for employees.
LibAccess
Allows current and retired McMaster faculty and staff and currently registered students to access licensed e-Resources.
MacConnect (Wired & Wireless)
Public area network access ports are available at various locations across the McMaster campus.
MacVote
McMaster's Online Voting System currently used by the University Secretariat
Proxy Server
McMaster Proxy Service permits access to off-campus sites from a system that is otherwise blocked from external access and is used in exceptional circumstances where MacConnect is not possible.
Virtual Private Network (VPN)
VPN is a network that uses a public network to transfer information using secure methods

McMaster is strengthening its password system and all MAC ID passwords established before February 19, 2013 must be changed.
