For McMaster employees, retirees and alumni with a MAC ID or UnivMail email account.

To serve you better, the MAC ID (logon) process at McMaster has been improved. In a few steps, you will enjoy the benefits of MAC ID Service Enhancement:

  • One username and password for authorized resources (MacConnect, UnivMail Email, VPN, MacConnect Clean Access)
  • Online username and password management

Step 1:
Click on the MAC ID Service Enhancement link in the Quick Links section above and follow the prompts.

Step 2:
If you use UnivMail Email Service, www.mcmaster.ca/support/email/emailpswdchg.htm.

Important:
If you use a RIM Blackberry with Univmail e-mail and have saved your logonid and password in the Blackberry web client you will need to change this as well.

If you use a Palm PDA and have saved your logonid and password in Versamail, you will need to change this as well.

Step 3:
Restart your computer!

Remember to use your new MAC ID and password setup in Step 1 for all authorized resources.
