Clearing the stored password on the Blackberry
If you use a Blackberry to access your UnivMail account, clear the password from your blackberry email setup. After changing your MAC ID password to meet the password complexity requirements, enter your new MAC ID password into your Blackberry email account information for UnivMail.
- Power on the BlackBerry.
- Click on the Setup icon which is located on the Home screen.
- Click on Email Accounts.
- Click on Internet Mail Account.
- Select the account where you would like your password changed.
- A pop-up menu will appear. Click on Edit.
- Expand Login Information.
- Enter your current password.
- Enter the new password in the New Password field.
- Enter the new password again in the Confirm New Password field.
- Press the Menu button.
- Click on Save.

McMaster is strengthening its password system and all MAC ID passwords established before February 19, 2013 must be changed.
