Alumni & Retiree MAC ID

MAC ID is a unique, common identifier (user name) enabling single sign-on for a number of McMaster systems and applications.

If you do not have a MAC ID, you need to contact the UTS Service Desk at extension 24357 or by email at

Upon graduation McMaster, graduates continue to be able to use their Mac ID, which allows alumni to have access to systems, such as Mosaic and Oscar. The McMaster Alumni Association offers a free email forwarding service to all graduates and information about this service can be found at


 All retirees have their Mac IDs for life. The Mac ID allows retirees accessing some of the eligible services. A retiring employee may choose to elect to keep his/her McMaster e-mail account. Retirees who have not used a McMaster email account in the past may request one using the form below.
