Man-made greenhouse gas emissions are a major contributing factor to global warming. The Environmental impact of IT and computing can be lessened by adapting sustainable computing, reducing carbon footprint across McMaster University, making recycling a part of our life and following Green Practices.
UTS is continuously searching for ways to reduce its environmental footprint by undertaking and supporting Green Computing Initiatives and adopting evolving Green Practices. UTS is also raising awareness of the need for Green Computing by participating in events like Earth Day organized by the Office of Sustainability.
