Roaming IP for McMaster Network
Follow the link below to complete a request form for a McMaster roaming IP address.
If the above form is not available, please send an email message to c-tecnet@mcmaster.ca with the following information:

The Network Interface Card Physical Address:
Note: The Physical address (also known as "ethernet", "hardware" or "adapter" address) must be entered as hh:hh:hh:hh:hh:hh. For example, 00:04:36:9b:df:0a.
If your operating system is:
- Windows 2000 or Windows XP, type "ipconfig /all" at the DOS/Command Prompt (without the quotes) and it will display your IP address and all the TCP/IP configuration information for the network card, including the Physical Address.
- Windows 98, type "winipcfg" at the DOS/Command Prompt.
- Unix/Linux and variants, "ifconfig" will normally display this information.
If you are having any difficulty determining the Physical Address, please ask your computer support representative to assist you, and to submit this information.
