MacConnect Web Login
UTS broadcasts the MacConnect SSID (or wireless network) using 802.11g/b radios. Use your wireless connection manager to select and connect to this network. Once connected, open your web browser and attempt to access any Internet site. Your browser should redirect to the MacConnect login page.

- To login to MacConnect, ensure that you're within acceptable range of a wireless access point, or wired into a designated MacConnect network port, and simply open your browser. Your browser will automatically redirect you to the login page where you must enter your MAC ID for authorization and access.
- After successfully logging into MacConnect, your browser will present a status screen with your login information and a logout button so that you can disconnect. You should keep this window open during your entire session. You should allow popups from server mc-auth.mcmaster.ca. Click Logout when your session is finished.
- If you accidentally close this Window, or are unable to maintain it as is the case with most PDA's which only allow one active browser window, you can return to it by pointing your browser at https://mc-auth.mcmaster.ca/fs/customwebauth/logout.html
