Email/MacID Request Form For Departmental/Role Based Accounts

NOTE REGARDING EMPLOYEE MACID'S:

Effective February 23, 2016 this form cannot be used for Generic (clubs, roles) and Departmental MACID and Email Account requests. If you require a generic/departmental account created, please log in and submit the request form available at https://apps.mcmaster.ca/role-based This must be submitted by a full time McMaster employee who will act as sponsor/owner of the account.

 

Courtesty accounts for Non-McMaster Employees must be requested through a POI (Person of interest) form which is available at Person of Interest (POI) Request (MAC ID log in is required). Select Option 2, MAC ID and Account Management, then select POI Request. This request must be submitted by the supervisor of the POI who is a full time employee of the University.

 

The process of obtaining a macid is now provided through information provided by HR.


HR will provide the user with the Peoplesoft id # and their barcode and the link to activate the macid. Once they get this information, the user will activate the id, which will create an email account as well.


To activate your macid, please go to https://mosaic.mcmaster.ca


  • Below the sign in box, select the option "Need help with your MAC ID".
  • Select the option "I want to Activate My MAC ID".
  • You will be prompted to input your Person ID, Barcode and Date of Birth. You will then have to accept terms and conditions, after which you will set up a password, then select 3 challenge questions and provide answers.
