Summary: Post outage notification

 

We experienced two unplanned outages over the weekend.

 

Outage 1:

Email messages have not been received by Univmail and MUSS inboxes between the following dates and times:

 

November 2, 2012 from 22:39 until November 3, 2012 2:37
November 3, 2012 from 05:37 until November 3, 2012 11:06


It should be noted that the sender would have received notification that any emails they sent during these times were not delivered.

 

Outage 2:

We have experienced a loss in service for the following:

 

  • Axiom
  • Corporate Calendar and Calendar Depot
  • Equitrac system
  • EDL – Electronic Distribution lists
  • MUSS – undergraduate email for 137 students
  • UnivMail
  • OMR services
  • MacVote

Outage time and date:

Start: November 2, 2012 22:39

 

End: November 3, 2012 03:30

 

All systems are back up. We will continue our investigation to determine the cause of the issues on Monday November 5, 2012. We apologize for the inconvenience these outages may have caused.
