If you are a student living off-campus, find out about McMaster and community initiatives regarding sustainability such as ordering a new green bin or tips to cut down on your monthly energy bill.

Sustainable Future Program
The Sustainable Future Program (SFP) aims to build reciprocal relationships between students, community members, and McMaster University, and engage all parties in the journey towards a sustainable future.
Founded in 2012, the first major initiative of the program is the development of the Undergraduate Course: SUSTAIN 2A03: The Sustainable Future Project, which aims to create more knowledgeable and more effective change agents.
McMaster Sustainability Internship Program
Introduced in 2009, this program helps students engage in their community while learning about sustainability and seeing hands-on results of their work.
