Carpool Week 2012

Thank you to everyone who took part in Carpool Week 2012.

McMaster increased number of Carpool Zone Users from 209 to 336 and number of active carpoolers from 17 to 34.

All prizes will be awarded on March 21st during Carpool Appreciation Day.

Carpool Week is an annual event hosted by Smart Commute and supported by McMaster’s Security & Parking Services and the Office of Sustainability to encourage people to carpool and celebrate how much commuters can save by driving to work, to school or to an event with at least one other person. Employees at Smart Commute workplaces such as McMaster can look forward to exclusive promotions leading up to Carpool Week.

Carpool Week 2012 promotions, courtesy of Security & Parking Services, are open to employees and students of McMaster’s main campus and Ron Joyce Centre. Carpool Week 2012 promotions offered by Smart Commute are open to all employees and students of McMaster.

† Main Campus Parking includes the stadium and Parking Lot E. Pylons will be available to designated Carpool Week parking spaces in each lot.

Carpool Appreciation Day Lunch

All McMaster Carpoolers are invited to attend McMaster's first-ever Carpooler Appreciation Day Lunch in celebration of those who make the commitment to share a ride and reduce the number of single occupancy vehicles coming to and from McMaster.

All carpoolers should have received an email invitation to this special event. Only McMaster Carpoolers are invited to take part in this event.
