The McMaster Biosciences Incubation Centre (MBIC) offers entrepreneurial researchers and start-up companies in the life sciences sector with resources to develop commercially successful products and services. These resources include: laboratories, scientific equipment and research resources, as well as business mentoring and support services. In addition, MBIC offers shared administrative facilities and office equipment, executive meeting space, business advice  and referral services, networking opportunities, programs for off-site clients and more.

Located on the McMaster University campus in the Michael DeGroote Centre for Learning, MBIC clients also benefit from interaction with other researchers located in the 300,000-square-foot facility.

MBIC space is available: to researchers from McMaster and other universities; to start-up companies who may have an association with McMaster University; or to other companies who wish to locate on campus for strategic reasons. MBIC provides its clients with high quality laboratories and office space under flexible service contract conditions. Nine laboratories ranging in size from 442 to 850 square feet and seven offices ranging in size from 145 to 218 square feet are available.
